About Lavender Cottage
We aim to create a beautiful home-from-home for our guests to enjoy. We want to take the stress away from having to remember everything to take on a self-catering holiday by having it all here for you. Simply bring yourselves, your food and drink, toiletries and clothes, and relax!
We know your dog is part of your family, so if they want to come on holiday with you, up to 2 are welcome at Lavender Cottage – as long as their owners are well behaved 😉

Overview of the facilities
The rear garden has Hot-Tub, patio area, and decked area with table and seating, umbrella, barbecue. The shed contains a number of items for your convenience, including charcoal for BBQ, cushions for outside seating, windbreak, picnic blanket, garden games.
There is one space directly outside the property for your use, (please respect the neighbour’s rights to park outside their own properties). Further parking is available at the end of the terrace (near caravan park), where the bungalows have their own driveways. Finally, there is parking available on the roadside, outside the caravan park (near Premiere shop).
fridge/freezer, dishwasher, cooker, table with seating for 10, pans, crockery, glasses, ovenware, kettle, toaster, teapot, cutlery, tea, coffee, sugar, liquid soap, cleaning products, dishwasher tabs/rinse aid, tea towels, bin bags etc.
There is a Tassimo drinks machine, we do not supply pods, but bring your own you are welcome to use the machine.
If you are bringing a dog with you, we have food and drink bowls for them in the kitchen, and they are very welcome downstairs in the cottage. Please do not allow them on furniture, particularly the light coloured sofa.
We use them all the time for our dog, and it does seem to reduce the burning, so would ask that you please respect this whilst you are at Lavender cottage. It goes without saying that any other dog waste must be removed and disposed of by the owner.
Washing machine, tumble drier (this is a condenser dryer, so the tray has to be emptied out from time to time, simply pull the drawer in the top left corner of the machine and you will see this is a water train, which just needs to be emptied), microwave, fire blanket and fire extinguisher.
2 large comfy sofas to easily seat 8, 1 chair, coffee table, floor lamp, 40 inch Flat Screen HDTV with Freeview and BT Sports package, with selection of books, videos & board games.
BT Home Hub Wi-Fi with BT Sports Package.
Second Sitting room
Corner sofa, with storage containing toys and games – pulls out to be a large sofa bed, Chaise Longe, TV, selection of toys and games.
Iron, ironing board, 2 travel cots, cleaning equipt, vacuum cleaner, clothes airer and pegs, 2 high chairs.
We will leave enough loo rolls, dishwasher tablets/washing tabs/handwash etc to get you started, although you may need to top up. We also leave tea/coffee/sugar for you to enjoy.
Walk-in Shower, sink, W/C. roll top bath, towels, liquid soap, small basket of emergency toiletries, if you have arrived and realise you have forgotten something, these are here for you to use, but we ask that you replace before the end of your stay for the next guests.
Please note the toilet handle does not go fully back into position if toilet seat is up. Can you please just tap it up when you have finished, or put the seat down and it will do it for you.

Smoke detectors and a carbon monoxide detector are fitted for your safety. All portable electrical appliances in the Cottage are professionally P.A.T. tested (Portable Appliance Tested) where necessary.
If you need more heat, simply switch the dial to the tap and radiator symbol. Once warm enough, please switch back to the tap only symbol.
